This Van Alstyne project turned an unusable area into a stable new entrance. The work began with demolition and cleanup, then moved through culvert installation, on-site borrow excavation, lift compaction, crushed-concrete base and a packed asphalt-millings surface.

A lasting entrance depends on what is below the driving surface. Each phase was built to support the next while preserving roadside drainage and creating reliable property access.
Demolition & Clearing
The old gazebo and debris were removed first, opening the site and creating room to lay out the new driveway approach.
Culvert & Drainage
The roadside crossing was excavated and the culvert installed to maintain the existing drainage path beneath the new entrance.
Borrow & Compaction
Material excavated from the on-site borrow pit was placed and compacted in lifts to build the driveway embankment.
Base & Millings
Compacted crushed concrete provided structural base, followed by asphalt millings shaped and packed into the final driving surface.
